he is an entertainer, at heart. are you hosting an event with a few friends and need someone to serve tea, strum an instrument and sing? hisato has you covered. for a fairly cheap price, he can sit with your group for a while and flirt with everyone equally.

private detective & informant. his crossing between two worlds (government vs mafia) has put him in a position of understanding and bartering between both. hired as a private detective, he can sleuth out the truth and sell that information for a pretty penny. he's not in need of gil - so don't expect a huge fee, but everything comes at a cost.

cosmetology. hisato is pretty. dangerously so. because he spent a lot of his formative years trying to become a female entertainer, he knows a thing or two about hair styling, cosmetology/makeup, and general practices to help your skin become more radiant. he'll always get along with people who are of the same mindset and will want to share tips and tricks on the latest trends.

ex-sekiseigumi or current. he wasn't known as a good or bad officer among his peers. hisato was always better recognized by his race, an unusual sight among the sekiseigumi. he may be able to relate better to characters with a similar background growth of poverty to protecting citizens.

yakuza. hisato is better known among the yakuza to be the "easier" type of officer to work with. while his Ward was safe, the price of protection was paid by blood. because of his former tie to yakuza, he can't seem to shake off his connections to the underworld of kugane. even though he was law enforcement, he was probably on your side. so you'll get along just fine.

ban yue's ghost. spend enough time with hisato and you'll start to see the cracks in his beautiful facade. it's only a matter of time, but it takes a lot of work. this is a rare hook and requires an ooc friendship with me. sorry not sorry.

about Hisato is the adopted son of a yujo. Born as a Veena Viera, his origins remain unknown, though he has vivid memories of his parents fighting in the Dalmascan Resistance. He stands taller than the average male Viera, and like most males of his kind, his appearance is quite feminine—almost too beautiful. Hisato is a mild-mannered man with a touch of elegance; he doesn't seem like the type to get his hands dirty, but that couldn't be further from the truth. His torso bears scars from his time in the Sekiseigumi, an experience he will never forget.

biography Hisato is the adopted son of a yujo. With very few memories of his early life, he recalls a time when his parents fought in the Dalmascan resistance. Born and killed during their time on the battlefield, Hisato was found wandering the Hingan countryside by a yujo—how he got there remains a mystery. Mistaken for a teenage girl, he was quickly taken in. Once found, he was trained as a yujo and affectionately called "Hinata," or Hina-chan. As Hina-chan, he aimed to assist in his mother's okiya, giving him some exposure to the red-light district of Kugane. However, everything changed when Hisato entered his preteen years and began to experience Vieran puberty, during which it was discovered that he was actually male. Instead of continuing to work within the red-light district, Hisato sought to pull himself and his mother out of poverty and misery. He decided to become a samurai and enlisted as an officer in the Sekiseigumi. The training was rigorous and demanding, resulting in Hisato becoming a strong and authoritative officer who vowed to keep Kugane's port safe. However, due to his personal views on the bakufu, he could not continue his service. Once he saved enough money, he paid off his mother's debt to the okiya, securing her safety and freedom. After that, Hisato left the Sekiseigumi.

Ayumi nakazawa | adoptive mother
hisato's adoptive mother who taught him everything he knows on life. her motto was always "survival requires beautiful lies" and "power is the only honest currency" which shaped his world view. she's an elderly woman living peacefully in shirogane, hoping that her son will finally settle down like he promised many moons ago.

yusuke kagimoto | retired colleague
hisato's right hand man and first officer. the two of them looked after the same ward in shirogane, helping protect its citizens and investigate odd behaviors. yusuke and hisato were two of a kind, often doing favors for citizens and gangsters alike. they both turned a blind eye, as long as they were paid the right amount.

ban yue | deceased fiancé
hisato's deceased fiancé and the love of his life. She was a dutiful priestess from sui-no-sato hired on a mission to help exorcise the oni plauging his assigned ward in shirogane. he soon became smitten with yue, helping her understand the world above. they shared a short engagement before her life ended in tragedy.
